Leonard N., Nettelhorst Elementary

“What I’m into now” is basketball and soccer because it shows who I am through others' opinion. These sports represent a big portion of my identity. When I play basketball and soccer it makes me feel like I am a different person. I am a bigger fan of soccer but even though I like soccer and basketball I figure a way to combine both to have an equal amount of interest into them.
Basketball is a way for me to feel energetic and have fun while trying my hardest at games, practice, etc. Basketball can tell a lot from me. It can tell that I love sports, I try my hardest or I like to be doing my best at any point in time. When I watch basketball it can teach me a lot of new tricks, can show me how to do something or just for entertainment. Basketball and soccer, for me are completely different feelings toward each sport.
For soccer I am not a very big fan in watching it but I do watch it here and there. I watch soccer mostly to learn new tricks and can see how I should play myself or with a team. When playing soccer I always try my hardest because it can teach me new tricks just by playing or I could get better at soccer. Soccer and basketball have a similar feeling to me. The way I feel for soccer and basketball have one thing in common: I try my hardest in each sport.
In conclusion, basketball and soccer have an impact on my life. It represents my identity. These sports are two of my favorite sports. Soccer and basketball can change my whole thoughts on the world because these sports can show that not everything is about injuries—it’s just about having fun outside or inside. Basketball and soccer are two of my favorite outdoor activities. This is “What I’m Into Now.”
